The communities in Kilifi that we support with FairSpirit with basic income are now fundraising on Ma Earth for restoration of the Takaungu watershed. If you can, support them with a few dollars. Every small amount can make a big difference, because donations are matched by Ma Earth.
The community in Kenya is working together to restore their land and environment. Around 100 neighbors help each other with tasks like saving water, improving soil, growing food, and protecting trees and waterways. They follow a simple idea: everything is connected. What happens on the land affects the rivers and the ocean.
They use traditional group work systems where people plan, work, and share together. At the same time, a digital tool (Sarafu Network) helps track who contributes what, so everyone’s effort is recognized and fairly organized.
In short, the project is not just about regenerating nature, but also about strengthening cooperation, trust, and shared responsibility in the community for a sustainable future.
You can read all about the project on substack. And than make sure you head over to Ma Earth to support the project with a small donation.
