With the Binc money project (Binkgeld website in Dutch), we’re starting with a mini basic income in The Netherlands: a small group of people receives a modest basic income of 2 euro per day for several months. The first round is run in cooperation with the local currency “Utrechtse Euro” in the city of Utrecht.
The three participants in the first Binkgeld round in Utrecht have been announced: Sally, Shirin, and Annalena. They each receive a Utrecht Euro account and will receive 2 Utrecht Euros per day for the next six months. On the Binkgeld site (in Dutch) we briefly introduce the participants.
